Struggling students experience school differently. There is a common ebb and flow of trial and triumph that unique learners experience. I call it the Semester Lifecycle.

Using the Semester Lifecycle as our guide, we are able to predict and plan for challenges before they occur. The beginning of the second semester brings it's own expectations and challenges, along with some strategies we can use to support a strong start.

We will take a look at our supplies and switch out some that work a bit better for our struggling students. The homework zone will also get some adjustments so that we can have it optimized to support sustained attention. I've included a bonus download of optimizing strategies for each room situation. Schedules get busy quicker in the second semester, so we will jump right in with time mapping to help our students see the time, that they must manage.
